"Try this one trick...!" I largely use a bread machine to make bread these days, but I found a recipe last year that required an extra rise cycle, so can't be baked in the machine. It's been a struggle to let it rise right because it inevitably dries out or sticks to whatever is covering it, ruining the rise.
While walking through the grocery store recently, I noticed "XL Shower Caps" for $5 and I thought hey, that would probably work. It'll keep in the heat and the humidity, and can be propped up so it doesn't stick to the bread.
And I was right. And the house smells amazing. Happy Autumn Equinox.
